Terms of Service

The following Terms of Service govern the use of BDFD Tools and are divided into three sections:

1. Terms for Codes

2. Terms for Giveaways

   • 2.1 Link Placement on the Website

3. Terms for Discord Server

By using the website and the provided services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not permitted to use our services. These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, and the place of jurisdiction is Karlsruhe, Germany.

Notice Regarding YouTube Channel Redesign

Due to the redesign of our YouTube channel, not all codes are available on this website. All codes published before March 21, 2024 can be found in a Pastebin linked under each respective video. If a Pastebin link becomes invalid or expires, we are not obligated to renew the link or provide the codes again.

1. Terms for Codes

Private Use:
Private use includes all activities where the material is used privately and does not:

• Get published.
  
  

• Get used for commercial purposes.
  
  

• Get claimed as your own.
  
  

Modifications:
Modifications refer to any changes or edits to the provided code, including but not limited to:

• Translating the code into another language (e.g., from German to French).
  
  

• Altering the structure or format of the code.
  BDFD Tools does not offer support for modified codes and assumes no liability for issues or errors resulting from such modifications.
  
  

Intellectual Property:
All code snippets, embeds, configurations, and related assets provided on BDFD Tools – including embedded images or artwork used within the code – are the intellectual property of the site owner.
You are not permitted to use these assets (code or visuals) for any commercial purposes, such as monetized bots, paid features, or resale.
Even if a portion of the content has been created with digital tools or external generators, the full work is considered protected and owned by BDFD Tools.

No Guarantee:
There is no guarantee for the permanent availability, functionality, or error-free operation of the codes. Changes to functionality or availability may occur at any time.

Code Compatibility:
Please note that updates or changes to Bot Designer for Discord (BDFD) may affect the functionality of the provided codes.
We do not guarantee that the codes will continue to work as intended after a BDFD update and are not obligated to adapt them to new versions.
The publication date of a code serves as the reference point for its functionality. It is the responsibility of users to ensure that the codes are compatible with the current version of BDFD.

Liability Disclaimer:
BDFD Tools is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of its codes.

Redistribution Rules:
You may not redistribute our code or visual content without clearly linking to https://www.bdfdtools.com. Public reuploads or collections (e.g., Pastebin, GitHub) are not allowed without permission.

Automatic Agreement:
By using the codes, you automatically agree to these Terms of Service.

Severability Clause:
Should any provision of these Terms of Service be invalid or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the economic purpose of the invalid provision.

2. Terms for Giveaways

Eligibility:

• Each person may only participate in a giveaway with a single account. Multiple entries will lead to immediate disqualification.

• The organizer reserves the right to review participants and exclude them from ongoing and future giveaways in case of violations.

Claiming Prizes:

• Prizes must be claimed within 24 hours of notification.

• The organizer reserves the right not to reassign a prize if it is not claimed within the specified timeframe.

• Prizes cannot be transferred or paid out in cash.

Selection Process:
Winners are chosen using an external giveaway bot: Giveaway Boat. The bot is not owned or controlled by BDFD Tools. For more information about its functionality, users can refer to the bot's official documentation.

Data Privacy for Giveaways:
BDFD Tools collects no personal data from users. Participation occurs through the external bot Giveaway Boat, which is not affiliated with BDFD Tools. We are not aware of what data the bot collects or how it is processed.

Spam Prohibition:
Giveaway conditions must not be fulfilled through spam. Violations will lead to immediate disqualification.

Misuse of Giveaways:

• If the moderation team determines a participant has violated the Terms of Service, a ban will be manually applied.

• Users who repeatedly abuse the rules will be permanently excluded from all future giveaways.

Interruption or Cancellation of the Giveaway:
If a giveaway is interrupted due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., technical issues, server outages, or force majeure), the organizer reserves the right to continue the giveaway at a later date or cancel it entirely. In such cases, there is no entitlement to compensation.

Participation of Minors:
Participation in giveaways is allowed only for adult users. Minors require the consent of their legal guardians.

The minimum age requirement in Germany serves as a guideline. If you are below this minimum age, participation in competitions is not permitted.

2.1 Link Placement on the Website

Prohibited Link Types:
The links you submit must not lead to content of the following nature:

• Misinformation

• Political content

• Hate speech or glorification of violence

• Pornographic content

• Content encouraging self-harm or harm to others

• Propagandistic content

• Content that violates the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany

The definitions of these terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Compliance with Terms of Service:
All submitted links must comply with the general Terms of Service and applicable laws. Links that violate these terms may be removed without prior notice.

Discord Guidelines:
If Discord use is relevant to the link content, the Discord Terms of Service must also be adhered to.

Link Review:

• All submitted links are manually reviewed.

• Links that violate the guidelines will not be placed.

• If a link violates the guidelines, no replacement link can be submitted. In such cases, the prize is forfeited.

Liability Disclaimer:
BDFD Tools assumes no responsibility for the content of links shared by users. Users are solely responsible for the links they share.

Approval Requirement:
Certain links, particularly promotional links or content pointing to external services, may require approval before placement on the website.

Repeated Violations:
Users who repeatedly submit links that violate these guidelines may face permanent exclusion from submitting links or participating in related activities.

Use of Third-Party Services

BDFD Tools assumes no liability for damages, data loss, or malfunctions resulting from the use of third-party services, such as the Giveaway Boat bot. Use of such services is at your own risk.

3. Discord Server Guidelines

§1 – Conduct in Text Channels

1. Spam is prohibited.
   Excessive, repetitive, or disruptive messages are not allowed.
   
   

2. Advertising and unsolicited links are not permitted.
   The promotion of external services, games, servers, or content is strictly forbidden without prior staff approval.
   
   

3. Harmful visual content is forbidden.
   The distribution of flashing or rapidly blinking images that may trigger seizures or discomfort in other users is strictly prohibited.
   
   

4. System exploitation is not allowed.
   Deliberate testing or manipulation of the moderation system to discover potential loopholes is forbidden and will be treated as a violation.
   
   

§2 – Conduct in Voice Channels

1. Recording is strictly prohibited.
   Capturing audio or video content within voice channels — including conversations — is not allowed under any circumstances.
   
   

2. Channel-hopping is disruptive.
   Repeatedly switching between voice channels in short succession is considered spam and is not tolerated.
   
   

3. Voice manipulation tools are not allowed.
   The use of voice changers, soundboards, or other disruptive audio tools is prohibited.
   
   

§3 – General Behavior Expectations

• Respect is mandatory.
  All members must treat each other with courtesy and consideration.
  
  

• Hate speech, discrimination, and harassment are not tolerated.
  This includes, but is not limited to, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and personal attacks.
  
  

• Bullying and trolling are strictly forbidden.
  Any form of targeted aggression or provocation will result in moderation actions.
  
  

• NSFW content is banned.
  Sharing adult, explicit, or disturbing content is grounds for immediate removal.
  
  

• Unwritten rules still apply.
  Actions that are harmful, even if not explicitly listed here, may be penalized at the discretion of the moderation team.
  
  

• Staff decisions are final.
  The moderation team reserves the right to intervene and act to protect the integrity and safety of the community.
  
  

§4 – Usernames, Avatars, and Status Messages

• Inappropriate identity elements are not allowed.
  Usernames, profile pictures, and status texts must not contain offensive, sexual, political extremist, or otherwise inappropriate content.
  
  

• Impersonation is prohibited.
  Pretending to be staff, moderators, public figures, or other users is strictly forbidden.
  
  

• Misleading or invisible names must remain recognizable.
  Using blank characters or deceptive formats is only tolerated if it does not hinder moderation or community interaction.
  
  

§5 – Age Requirements

• This server adheres to Discord’s official age guidelines.
  In most regions, users must be at least 13 years old. In the European Union and certain jurisdictions, the minimum age is 16.
  
  

• Violation of age policy may result in removal.
  If there is reasonable evidence or suspicion of a user providing false age information, moderation action may be taken, including removal from the server.

Changes to the Terms of Service

Changes to the Terms of Service will be published on the website and take effect immediately upon publication. A notice on the homepage will inform users of any changes.
